Gecko Hospitality is now searching for an experienced and motivated Restaurant General Manager in Durango for a local favorite! The ideal Restaurant General Manager is a hands-on high-energy leader with strong organizational skills an ownership mindset and proven ability to drive operations develop teams and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Our menu rotates seasonally with daily specials fresh-baked desserts including gluten-free and vegan options. Whether dining in or taking it to go guests can enjoy wholesome meals made without artificial additives or preservatives.

Responsibilities

Oversees all aspects of restaurant operations including financial performance guest satisfaction and team development.
Recruits hires trains and mentors staff while developing Shift Supervisors into strong leaders.
Provides coaching and feedback to drive engagement accountability and high performance.
Runs efficient shifts that consistently deliver excellent food service and overall guest experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years current experience as a Restaurant General Manager in a full service or fast casual concept
Ability to increase sales and build rapport in the community
Outstanding leadership communication and organizational skills
Hands-on with hiring training and developing hourly employees
Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed
Restaurant general manager candidates must be proficient with financials (P&Ls inventory food/labor cost etc.)
