The City of Bothell is seeking a temporary Seasonal Mechanic Lube Technician to assist with basic automotive service tasks such as oil changes fluid checks inspections and other routine maintenance. This role supports full-time staff in keeping vehicles and equipment safe reliable and ready for daily operations.

Note: This is a Temporary Full-Time position. The anticipated end date for this position will be four (4) full months from hire. This is also a non-represented and non-benefited position.

Default schedule will be the following:Mondays to Fridays 5/8 schedule from 7am 3:30pm

What will you do in this position

Conduct routine lubrication services including oil and filter changes on both light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles.
Inspect vehicles to assess fluid levels identify leaks and evaluate tire condition belts hoses and basic mechanical components.
Perform tire rotations and replace wiper blades air filters and other minor service tasks.
Accurately maintains service records and maintenance logs.
Support fleet staff with basic repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
