Job Summary

The Automotive MPU CAS role is a customer-facing technical position focused on enabling NXPs advanced MPU platforms (S32G S32N series) in automotive applications. It bridges design-in support system-level consulting and ensuring successful deployment of software-defined vehicle (SDV) architectures.

Job Responsibilities

Customer Application Support
Provide technical assistance to OEMs Tier-1 suppliers and partners for NXP Automotive MPU platforms (S32G S32N series).
Design-In Enablement
Guide customers through hardware/software integration including Ethernet TSN CAN FD FlexRay and security engines (HSE XRDC).
System-Level Consulting
Advise on zonal gateway architectures virtualization and ECU consolidation strategies for SDV (Software Defined Vehicle) programs.
Pre- & Post-Sales Technical Engagement
Deliver technical presentations demos PoC evaluations application notes and training materials.
Development & Debug Support
Assist with boot configuration DDR setup multi-core initialization and validate AUTOSAR/Linux stacks hypervisors and real-time drivers.
Escalation & Issue Management
Follow structured escalation procedures for unresolved technical issues ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

Job Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
Proven experience (3 years) in embedded software development preferably within the automotive industry.
Strong proficiency in C/C programming for embedded systems.
Experience with real-time operating systems (e.g. FreeRTOS QNX AUTOSAR OS).
Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN LIN Ethernet FlexRay).
Experience with microcontrollers/microprocessors including architecture understanding and peripheral interaction.
Proficiency with debugging tools (e.g. JTAG debuggers oscilloscopes logic analyzers).
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and version control systems (e.g. Git).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal in English.
Knowledge of automotive functional safety standards (e.g. ISO 26262) is a plus.
