The Role
At RedRover the GO Plan is not a pitch deck. It is the foundation of how we drive real measurable growth.
Reporting to the Director of Strategy & Insights youll serve as the primary account lead through GO Plan execution: driving client communication project management and strategic leadership across 46 engagements per quarter.
Youll coordinate a team of in-house specialists and external experts to deliver in-depth research and comprehensive strategies that convert into long-term growth partnerships.
This is not a facilitation role. You do the work. You own the thinking. You stand behind the strategy.
What You Will Own
Research & Strategy
- Lead hands-on research across buyers markets competitors CRM data sales performance and financials
- Conduct and synthesize stakeholder interviews and surveys
- Translate research into growth hypotheses multi-year roadmaps and 12-month tactical plans
- Define sequencing timelines investment levels and ROI projections
- Present research and strategy directly to CEOs CMOs and leadership teamsand defend it with logic and evidence
Pod Leadership
- Manage GO Plan timelines deliverables and cross-functional coordination
- Direct in-house specialists and external contractors toward strategic objectives
- Screen new contractors; may hire and manage analysts as the team scales
Post-GO Plan Strategic Anchor
When the GO Plan converts to a retainer the Account Director takes over day-to-day execution and relationship manager.
You remain the strategic anchor: ensuring what was sold designed and projected survives contact with reality. You translate strategy into operational priorities protect the ROI logic and serve as the escalation point when execution drifts.
What You Bring
- 5 years leading B2B growth marketing or revenue strategy with measurable outcomes
- 5 years of market research experience including executive and buyer interviews
- Ability to analyze CRM and revenue data: pipeline performance lifecycle metrics conversion rates
- Financial modeling and ROI projection skills tied to growth initiatives
- Experience scoping sequencing and prioritizing initiatives based on impact effort and risk
- Executive presence and confidence presenting to senior leadership
- Strong judgment when working with incomplete or imperfect data
- Experience with Google Analytics Google Ads SEO fundamentals PPC and paid social
- Prior experience managing cross-functional teams contractors or project pods preferred
- Agency experience helpful but not required
- Strategic rigor is required
