Job Summary

ISS STOXX is looking for a Sales Specialist to support our sales efforts acrossthe Americas region for our market leading suite of Sustainability & Climate Solutions.

To succeed in this role you will need to have a genuine interestin the area ofSustainable and Responsible investments along with a financial background and demonstrated sales experience.

The role requires a high level of technical acumen attention to detail the ability to understand front office needs and strong collaboration skills.


Responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue goals byidentifyingand closing upsells for existing clients and sales to prospective clients
  • Grow ISS STOXX market share recognition and perception within theinvestment management andasset ownercommunity
  • Continuously assess Sustainability data market opportunities define and update a sales plan for territory and discuss with management
  • Build and maintain relationships amongst prospects
  • Record all client and prospect contacts and all meeting and telephone activity information into firms CRM system
  • Share relevant industry and opportunity information across the sales group and with other departments

Qualifications

  • A minimum of5-7 years experience closing new business above target and relationship management within the financial services industry.
  • Bachelor or masters degree with a background in Finance Economics or other related discipline is preferred
  • Track record of relationship management business development and / revenue generation either selling directly or through strategic partners
  • Demonstrated relationship and project management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong multi-tasking skills with expert judgment to help set priorities
  • Excellent organizational and verbal skills
  • Absolute personal and business integrity

Base salary: The New York City expected base pay range is $85000 - $120000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills experience and level of education.

The role is bonus or incentive eligible.
