Mechanical Enginner

Industry & Sector: Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering precision mechanical product design prototyping and production support for industrial and OEM applications. This is a remote engineering role supporting India-based operations and cross-functional manufacturing teams.

Primary Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using 3D CAD; produce detailed 2D drawings and manufacturing-ready models with correct GD&T callouts.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) part specifications and revision-controlled engineering documentation for production handoff.
• Perform CAE-driven validation including finite element analysis thermal and structural checks; interpret results and implement design improvements.
• Drive DFM/DFMEA activities to optimise designs for manufacturability cost and assembly efficiency; support supplier selection and technical quote reviews.
• Coordinate prototyping testing and validation cycles; troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Contribute to process improvements standardisation of design practices and maintenance of CAD/PLM data integrity in a remote collaboration environment.
