Job Summary
Saratoga Bridges is looking for a Day Service Instructor who has experience in supporting people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. This candidate must be organized creative and have a calm presence. You must have one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities to be eligible for this role. Experience working with people who have challenging behaviors is preferred.
This Clifton Park position is a Monday through Friday schedule where youll be home in time for dinner. Youll be working with your classroom team to provide experiences in the community such as volunteering or visiting local historic sites. There will be opportunities to participate in art projects and classroom activities.
In the classroom you will:
- Run & document daily goals for the people you are working with
- Provide hands on support to the people in your classroom
- Help individuals prepare for opportunities in their community
The payrate is $24.00 per hour. A high school diploma is required and a bachelors degree in human services or related degree is preferred. You also need a year of experience working with people who have a developmental disability.
