Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced and driven Automation Tester with 57 years of hands-on testing experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation frameworks scripting and continuous integration practices and will be responsible for building and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure high-quality and secure software delivery.

Responsibilities

Design develop and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium Java/Python TestNG JUnit).

Develop automation frameworks and reusable components to support regression functional and integration testing.

Collaborate with developers business analysts and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into automated test cases.

Perform thorough analysis of test results and root cause of failures.

Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines by integrating automated tests.

Maintain and enhance test suites to ensure accuracy and relevancy with application changes.

Ensure test coverage meets quality standards expected for public sector compliance (e.g. data privacy security accessibility).

Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support and production readiness validation.

Document automation strategies test cases and results in alignment with government project standards.

Requirements

57 years of experience in software test automation.

Proven experience working on public sector or government projects understanding of regulatory and compliance standards.

Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium Appium Postman (for API testing) and scripting in Java Python or JavaScript.

Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.

Strong understanding of test automation frameworks (e.g. Page Object Model BDD with Cucumber).

Familiar with test management tools like JIRA TestRail or Zephyr.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.

Good To Have

Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter LoadRunner).

Basic knowledge of manual testing and ability to perform hybrid QA tasks when required.

Familiarity with government security protocols IM8 policies and G50 clearance processes.
