About Kuros Biosciences
Kuros Biosciences is a Swiss-listed life science company specializing in orthobiologics for spinal fusion surgery. With locations in Switzerland the USA and the Netherlands we manufacture our bone repair products in Bilthoven and sell them worldwide. We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our growing team in Bilthoven.
Position Overview
The Buyer is part of the Supply Chain/Procurement team and is responsible for purchasing materials components and services in line with production schedules quality requirements and regulatory standards. This role manages purchase orders in the ERP system oversees deliveries resolves supplier and invoice issues and supports supplier qualification and continuous improvement initiatives. Close collaboration with Supply Chain Production Engineering and Quality teams is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Procure production materials components and services according to schedules and quality standards
Negotiate pricing contracts and lead times with suppliers
Issue and manage purchase orders and confirmations in D365
Monitor supplier performance and manage delivery issues and complaints
Resolve invoice discrepancies and material shortages
Maintain purchasing documentation in the Quality Management System (QMS)
Support supplier qualification evaluation and KPI tracking
Ensure compliance with FDA ISO 13485 and internal quality requirements
Contribute to cost reduction process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to support production and new product introductions
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Biology Chemistry or related field
23 years of procurement experience within an ISO 13485regulated environment
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
CPP CPM or APICS certification preferred
