The team

Our headquarters in Rotterdam is home to around 150 colleagues representing over 30 nationalities. The Global Procurement function consists of approximately 45 professionals across four categories supported by a team of energetic Contract Managers Procurement Analysts and Procurement Assistants.

We leverage the scale of our global organization to ensure optimal stock and delivery management in terms of quantity quality and pricing. We proactively exchange market intelligence with our Business Units drive value engineering initiatives and continuously strive to exceed our customers changing needs. Collaboration synergy and excellence are at the core of how we operate.

The position:

In this role you are responsible for independently managing key procurement activities within the Juices category. You take ownership of the end-to-end procurement process while growing your responsibility in supplier negotiations and performance management.

You will:

• Manage the full procurement cycle for assigned products from sourcing and contracting to ordering delivery tracking and issue resolution.
• Prepare and lead short- and mid-term supplier negotiations to achieve cost quality and service targets.
• Execute contracts within delegated authority in line with procurement policies.
• Build and maintain strong trust-based relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Evaluate suppliers based on value creation performance and risk mitigation.
• Monitor market developments supply and demand trends and identify risks that could impact availability or pricing.
• Support supplier performance reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Operations Finance Commerce Planning and Contract Managers to ensure alignment with business and production needs.
• Use procurement tools and reports (e.g. SAP Excel) to monitor KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to improvements in procurement systems data quality and processes.

You actively challenge requirements where needed think critically about specifications and costs and ensure procurement decisions contribute to long-term business performance and continuity.

About you

We are looking for a talented energetic and analytically strong procurement professional who thrives in a dynamic and international environment.

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management Procurement Economics or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain preferably as a Buyer.
• Experience in FMCG food beverages or manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and procurement systems (e.g. SAP).
• Commercial mindset with a strong drive to create value and achieve collective success.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to align internal teams and suppliers resolve issues and drive improvements.
• Results-driven detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Proactive pragmatic and flexible.
• Fluent in English (additionally Spanish language is a plus).
