Job Summary
Community Resource Network of Floridais looking fora caregiverwho is fun compassionate dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their bestlife.
Were looking for a reliable and compassionate caregiver to support a 28-year-old young man he enjoys being out in the community. Hes looking for someone to provide companionship community outings. If youre someone who is dependable has a warm personality this could be a great fit. Reliable transportation is important if this sounds like something youd enjoy and youre committed to providing thoughtful quality care wed love to hear from you!
This is an independent contract position and pays$15.25 per hour
Schedule:Tues and Thurs flexible schedule
You will be a good fitfor thisposition if you:
- Have a positiveoutlook and contagious energy
- Demonstrate patience and compassion
Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:
- Encouraging and supporting the individualduring homeactivities
- Supporting with personal hygiene
- Meal/snack preparation and feeding assistance
- Ensuringindividualssafety and maintaining a safe living environment
- Performing light housekeeping tasks
- Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events community outings such as grocery shopping and appointments
- Promote communication choiceindependence and socialization
- Complete daily progress notes
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid drivers license
- Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
- Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
- Have proof of a High School diploma or equivalent
- Are 18 years of age or older
