Job Description:
As a Software Engineer at Isembard you will build MasonOS a software-first system turning machine shops into scalable cloud-like operations. Youll architect systems for CNC orchestration and robotics while working directly on the factory floor. This role offers the unique challenge of merging AI and full-stack engineering with high-stakes physical production.

What you will do:

Architect and scale backend services infrastructure and real-time monitoring systems to ensure fault-tolerant operation in demanding manufacturing environments.
Deploy and iterate on software directly within the factory setting bridging the gap between digital logic and physical production.
Integrate machine learning and AI-driven automation into the core of the MasonOS ecosystem to optimize supply chains and quality standards.

The ideal candidate:

A versatile generalist with exceptional coding skills in TypeScript and React capable of moving seamlessly between infrastructure and frontend development.
Experienced in DevOps and cloud infrastructure with a proven track record of deploying and maintaining resilient software in production environments.
A relentless problem-solver who has previously led technical projects and thrives in fast-paced high-stakes environments where software uptime is critical.
