Role Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) supports physicians and advanced practice providers by delivering high-quality clinical care and assisting with patient flow in a busy primary care setting. This role contributes to positive patient experiences by ensuring efficient clinical operations accurate documentation and responsive communication.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice in accordance with NYS LPN licensure and applicable laws and regulations

• Obtain and document vital signs prepare examination rooms and clean and sterilize equipment following established protocols

• Manage clinical phone calls including prescription refills test results and patient inquiries per practice guidelines

• Prepare patient records and documentation in advance of provider visits to support efficient care delivery

• Participate in scheduled team meetings to support collaboration clarify workflows and address patient care needs

Required Skills and Experience

• Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program

• Current New York State licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Minimum of 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare setting

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a primary care or outpatient medical office setting

Preferred skills are not required for consideration.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation including:

• Part Time approximately 3 days per week between 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday based on staff rotation

• No weekends or holidays required

• 0% travel required for this role

Pay Range Disclosure

Standard rate of $24.04 - $32.21 per hour plus benefits.
