About the Role

This position is a shared role between Surgery and Internal Medicine offering a unique opportunity to:

• Build strong anesthesia and technical skills
• Learn advanced procedures at a comfortable supported pace
• Gain exposure to additional specialty departments over time

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who is still learning or eager to learn and wants hands-on mentorship in a specialty setting.

What Youll Learn & Do

With training and support you will:

• Prepare and monitor patients under anesthesia
• Assist with surgical and internal medicine procedures
• Place IV catheters collect blood samples and perform radiographs
• Provide excellent patient care and client education
• Administer treatments and fill prescriptions
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
• Collaborate with other departments as your skills grow

Qualifications

• Veterinary technician experience preferred (general practice experience welcomed!)
• Licensed technicians (CVT/LVT/RVT) encouraged to apply
• Specialty experience not requiredwe are happy to train the right candidate
• Strong work ethic reliability and desire to learn are essential
