DescriptionDirector of Finance Position Summary
The Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing all financial operations for two inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. This includes budget planning financial reporting audit management and driving departmental efficiency aligned with organizational goals. This role will cover both Keller and Fort Worth markets.
Essential Functions
- Oversee all financial operations including budgeting projections accounts receivable month-end close and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement departmental goals plans and standards consistent with legal ethical clinical and administrative requirements.
- Direct and evaluate departmental operations including patient care support IT systems service levels and complaint resolution.
- Plan and monitor staffing activities including hiring orientation evaluation disciplinary actions and continuing education.
- Prepare monitor and evaluate departmental budgets ensuring compliance with financial targets.
- Coordinate and lead internal and external audits.
- Create and foster a professional environment that supports staff development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Must be able to influence negotiate and communicate across departments and leadership levels.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Education: Bachelors degree in a related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be substituted.
Skills:
- Business Mathematics: Proficient in calculations involving fractions percentages rates and interpreting graphs.
- Computer Skills: Moderate proficiency in email spreadsheets word processing and business software.
- Communication: Capable of handling complex communication and interacting with senior leadership.
- Problem Solving: Able to assess and solve varied and complex business challenges using precedent and judgment.
