Job Summary

Job Title - Warehouse Assistant

Job location - Sriperumbudur Chennai India

Job Discription -

To check if in warehouses areas there is the necessary material for the process in conditions of use and within the time conditions and quantities required.
To prepare the different equipment or parts of it according to the lists plans and photographs provided by manufacturing engineering with the quality criteria and the instructions supplied by the controller.
To carry out the checks on the raw material and finished goods indicated in the documentation of the corresponding equipment.
To identify all the material delivered to the assembly process according to the indications of production and quality.
To collaborate with other operators in their functions.
To communicate any incident or possible damage to the material to your Responsible.
To fill correctly the Records delivered by Production and Quality for each production series making sure to follow what is indicated therein.
To register the hours worked for each work area.
Actively participate in daily incident meetings (if they are required) to know the information related to your product and production process collaborating with solutions and improvement proposals.
To ensure that all the tools they handle is well located in conditions of use and within the calibration period when appropriate.

To maintain the cleanliness and order of your work area

Hand tools
Hoists and forklift experience

Basic measuring tools

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS (Skills competences expertise etc.)

Prior experience in industrial logistics environment preferred. Experience in warehousing and material preparation. Must possess knowledge of logistics processes.

Some experience in of 5S required

ITL (Industrial Technical Institute) or Higher Education (experience 1 -2 years)
