The Head Marketplaces & Quick Commerce will own and scale products across leading e-commerce marketplaces and quick commerce platforms driving revenue growth while maintaining strong unit economics and brand equity. This role carries end-to-end P&L responsibility and will work closely with cross-functional teams to build a high-performing marketplace business.
Key Responsibilities
P&L & Channel Ownership
Own end-to-end P&L for marketplaces and quick commerce (revenue margins ad spends operations and customer experience)
Manage pricing discounts promotions and advertising budgets across platforms
Growth & Performance
Drive traffic conversion and repeat purchases through data-driven optimization
Improve category visibility via keyword strategy A content and ranking optimization
Lead JBP (Joint Business Plan) discussions and negotiations with platforms such as Amazon Flipkart Nykaa Blinkit Zepto and Swiggy Instamart
Merchandising & Brand Execution
Oversee catalog management SEO content quality and brand-aligned visual storytelling
Drive ratings reviews and overall brand reputation management
Operations & Supply Chain
Partner with supply chain teams to maintain 95% in-stock levels and 2448 hour SLAs
Optimize demand forecasting warehouse placement and return logistics
People & Process
Build mentor and lead a high-performing team of marketplace managers and analysts
Establish dashboards and SOPs for launches replenishment ad optimization and reporting
712 years of experience in marketplace P&L leadership within D2C FMCG beauty or digital-first brands
Proven track record of scaling marketplace businesses to 100 Cr annual GMV
Strong hands-on experience with:
Amazon (FBA SPN Brand Analytics Ad Console)
Flipkart Ads and fulfillment models
Quick commerce launches and SKU optimization
Strong understanding of pricing strategy margin management and product lifecycle
Experience launching brands on global marketplaces (US / UAE)
Exposure to omnichannel retail 1P vs 3P models and D2C integration
