Job Summary
Kids R Kids Houston Heights is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Closing Teacher to join our team. This role involves providing a safe nurturing and educational environment for children during the closing hours of our daycare center from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about early childhood education and committed to fostering childrens development in a positive and engaging way.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children during closing hours.
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive emotional and social development.
- Prepare and maintain a clean organized classroom setting.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff about childrens progress and daily activities.
- Maintain compliance with all state licensing and company policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in early childhood education or daycare environment preferred.
- Ability to engage and connect with children in a positive manner.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to work from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
