Job Summary

Registered Nurse Opportunity:

Lead the way to well-being by becoming a Nurse at Mount View Care Center. As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will supervise the team caring for residents with a wide range of complex needs. Youll have the opportunity to engage with families and residents to create strong connections while using your nursing skills to assess treat and teach a diverse resident population. The employee performs the full scope of professional nursing functions within the parameters of professional licensure and standards of practice.

Compensation and Perks:

  • Starting pay ranges from $40.02 - $43.58 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential for all PM shifts and $2.50 for all NOC shifts.
  • We offer incentive pay for working additional hours beyond your schedule.
  • Full-time and part-time positions open. Shifts are 6:00am-2:00pm 2:00pm 10:00pm or 10pm-6:00am

  • As a full-time employee of NCHC you are eligible for the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS). The WRS is a hybrid defined benefit plan. It contains elements of both a 401(k) or defined contribution plan and a defined benefit plan. Participating staff contribute 7.2% and NCHC will match this at 100% each pay period!

What Qualifies You:

  • Degree in Nursing earned at an accredited college or university.
  • Current Professional Nurse Registration from the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing
  • Current BLS (CPR) Certification
  • Effective communication documentation and organization skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills including attention to detail compassion listening empathy patience cooperation and dependability
  • Ability to lift transport and support residents
  • Exceptional attendance

What a Registered Nurse does at NCHC:

  • Supervises directs and assists employees with direct resident care and provides direct resident care in a timely manner.
  • Sets priorities and delegates tasks to nursing personnel.
  • Makes accurate and ongoing assessment of patients/residents status and responds appropriately.
  • Collaborates with other nurses and care/treatment team members to ensure patients/residents wellbeing. Performs direct patient care using established procedures policies and standards.
  • Demonstrates necessary ability to handle emergency situations in a prompt precise and professional manner.
  • Administers medications and IVs according to policy and procedure; observe and document patients/residents response to medications.
