Position Summary
The Department of Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering and Technology ( MMET ) at Oregon Institute of Technology (Oregon Tech) is seeking applications for Postdoctoral Research Associate position. This is a 12-month staff position at Oregon Techs Oregon Manufacturing Innovation Center Research & Development ( OMIC R&D) with a possibility of extension to multiple years subject to performance satisfactory and funding availability. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct research related to additive manufacturing process development and mechanical characteristics studies. They will also be expected to develop an independent research agenda related to this topic. Duties include gathering managing analyzing and reporting data in accordance with project goals contributing to the dissemination of research findings submitting funding proposals and participating in long-term research planning.
