Primary Care Physician | Full Time | Hilton Head, SC

This opportunity is with a highly respected well-established regional healthcare system serving coastal communities in South Carolina.

The primary care service line supports multiple locations in and around Hilton Head offering excellent resources experienced APP support and a stable patient population focused on preventive care and chronic disease management.

Position Summary

The facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join its outpatient primary care team in Hilton Head South Carolina.

This role includes:

• Outpatient primary care for patients of all ages

• Chronic disease management (HTN diabetes thyroid disorders etc.)

• Preventive care annual exams and wellness visits

• Basic procedures depending on skill and interest

• Collaborative care with specialists and care coordinators

Essential Position Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to pediatric adult and geriatric patients

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions

• Perform preventive care visits physicals and health screenings

• Order review and interpret labs imaging and diagnostic studies

• Develop patient-centered treatment plans and provide ongoing follow-up

• Provide minor office-based procedures (if applicable)

• Collaborate with nurses APPs and care team members

• Coordinate care with specialty services as needed

• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR

• Participate in quality initiatives performance improvement and team meetings

Qualifications

Education

• M.D. or D.O. degree

• Completed residency in Family Medicine

Licensure & Certification

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine

• Eligible for a South Carolina medical license

• BLS required

Experience

• Open to new residency graduates

• Experienced Family Medicine physicians strongly encouraged to apply
