DESCRIPTION:
How Will You Make an Impact:
As a Sr Material Handler you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations ensuring efficient and accurate handling of materials and inventory. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining a smooth supply chain and supporting our customers needs.
A Day in the Life:
- Picking orders and putting material away
- Conducting cycle counts and receiving inventory
- Loading and unloading freight
- Supporting 5S activities
- Assisting internal customers with issues and escalations
- Communicating work status and any issues to leadership
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in distribution warehouse or supply chain or related field
Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers forklifts)
Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
- PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) experience
- ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) / WMS (Warehouse Management System) experience
- Ability to stand for 8 hours
- Capable of lifting 45lbs repeatedly
- Competent in Microsoft Suite
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving and escalation management abilities
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
- Warehouse environment that is not climate controlled
- Safety toe shoes are required at all times
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects regularly
