Job Summary
Job Responsibilities
Under supervision lead developer responsible for designing building and maintaining both the front-end and back-end of web applications technologies.
Design develop and maintain both front-end and back-end applications and other web technologies.
Oversee the complete software development lifecycle from conception to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
Implement and maintain APIs and micro server to connect different parts of an application.
Troubleshoot debug and upgrade existing software applications.
Write clean scalable and efficient code and conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
Develop coding standards and architectural decisions that influence the direction of development for the agency.
Ensure that junior programmers are adhering to these best practices. Other related duties within dot as needed and assigned by supervisor.

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A bachelors degree in computer science or a related area and experience in computer system development and modification. Relevant experience may substitute for the bachelors degree on a year-for-year basis.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:A bachelors degree in computer science or a related area and experience developing web applications environment.
Relevant experience may substitute for the bachelors degree on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred skills include C# .NET Framework MVC web API and familiarity with Azure Cloud platform. Additional Comments
