Firehouse Subs is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Prep Cook / Slicer to join our team. This role is essential to keeping our kitchen stocked organized and ready for service. The ideal candidate has prior experience slicing deli meats cheeses and vegetables and can work efficiently during daytime hours.
Responsibilities
- Slice deli meats and cheeses to Firehouse Subs standards
- Prep fresh vegetables and other ingredients daily
- Label store and rotate food properly (FIFO)
- Maintain a clean safe and organized prep area
- Follow food safety sanitation and company procedures
- Assist the kitchen team as needed during prep hours
Requirements
- Previous experience slicing deli meats cheeses and vegetables (required)
- Daytime availability (required)
- Ability to use commercial slicers safely and correctly
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 2540 lbs
- Reliable punctual and able to work independently
