Location: Tallahassee FL
Schedule: Full-Time Days (7:00 AM 7:00 PM) or Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Weekends: Rotating

Compensation & Incentives

• Hourly Pay: $27.72 $39.60 (based on years of experience)

• Shift Differentials:

  • Nights: $3.00/hr

  • Weekends: $2.00/hr

• Sign-On Bonus:

  • Days: $10000

  • Nights: $15000

• Relocation Assistance: Considered on a case-by-case basis

• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5 1:6

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses to join a high-performing Medical-Surgical Orthopedic unit at a 288-bed acute care hospital in Tallahassee FL. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative patient-centered environment where nurses are empowered to deliver high-quality orthopedic and spine care with strong peer and leadership support.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans

• Deliver safe evidence-based nursing care to adult orthopedic and post-surgical patients

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Educate patients and families on medications procedures and post-discharge care

• Advocate for patient safety comfort and recovery

• Utilize time supplies and clinical equipment efficiently

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent RN experience

  • Acute care experience preferred

  • Strong LTAC experience will be considered

• Licensure: Active Florida RN license or Multistate/Compact license

• Certifications:

  • BLS required

  • ACLS preferred (required within 6 months of hire)

• Education:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
