Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Mother Baby / Labor & Delivery
Location: Neptune NJ 07754
Shift: Night Shift
Hours: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts per week
Compensation
Local: $55$58 per hour
Travel: $65$70 per hour (inclusive of stipend)
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Mother Baby or Labor & Delivery unit. The RN will provide high-quality patient-centered care to mothers newborns and laboring patients ensuring safe outcomes through clinical excellence collaboration and compassionate support.
Key Responsibilities
Mother Baby RN
Provide postpartum care to mothers and routine care to newborns
Monitor maternal and neonatal vital signs and recovery progress
Educate patients and families on newborn care feeding and postpartum recovery
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Labor & Delivery RN
Provide care during labor delivery and the immediate postpartum period
Monitor fetal heart tracings and maternal status
Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Administer medications and IV therapies in accordance with protocols
Support patients and families throughout the labor and delivery process
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Jersey or compact as applicable)
Minimum 12 years of recent experience in Mother Baby or Labor & Delivery
BLS required; ACLS and NRP preferred (based on unit requirements)
Strong clinical assessment communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work night shifts and a 12-hour schedule
