Restaurant Assistant Manager

We are looking for a charismatic and confident Assistant Manager to join our team atPizza on the Park! This full time position would suit someone who loves a fast-paced environment and is a natural leader able to instantly connect with our customers and motivate the front of house team.

Key information for the Assistant Manager role:

Hours:Full time 45 hours per week to include evening and weekend work. Please note that if you have a certain weekly commitment which means there is a certain day or evening of the week where youre usually unavailable to work this is usually something we can work around (within reason!)

Salary:Package of 35000 per annum comprising a basic salary of 29000 plus approx. 6000 per annum in service charge (paid monthly)

A typical shift:Working a combination of daytime and evening shifts you will be the manager on duty on rotation with the General Manager and your fellow Assistant Manager. Either hosting at the door and keeping a check on the floor or even serving on tables yourself youll motivate the team to deliver our trademark friendly fun service. Pizza on the Park has been seeing incredible success lately as such you can expect busy buzzing shifts in this vibrant environment!

About our ideal Assistant Manager:

As Assistant Manager you will be:

• A confident people person who is switched on and willing to get stuck in!
• Able to juggle multiple demands whilst keeping tabs on your team and the venue
• Reliable versatile and hard-working
• Organised and efficient
• Passionate about high quality seasonal food and drink - perhaps with a particular penchant for the wonderful world that is Italian cuisine
  
• Comfortable and competent leading a team - perhaps youve had some experience supervising a team and are ready to take the next step or you are already an assistant manager looking for a change and loads of scope for future progression!
• Able to work to a rota including weekends - the restaurant is open seven days a week from Midday 10pm (11pm on Fridays and Saturdays)
• Above all - fun and friendly with charisma for days

Youll be a key part of the management team at Pizza on the Park - working closely with the General Manager Aruna and your fellow Assistant Managers to ensure that the restaurant goes from strength to strength!

What youll be doing as Assistant Manager:

• Duty management of our restaurant - working a mixture of day and evening shifts
• Checking customer feedback on Tripadvisor and other online forums and responding as needed
• Training holding one to one meetings and motivating your team to ensure they provide great service
• Maintaining high standards of quality control
• Checking stock levels and ordering stock
• Cash handling and daily cash ups
• Contributing ideas to help drive the business forward
• Managing a large front of house team as well as serving customers yourself - our management teams are very hands-on!
