DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW


TD Finance is an integral and trusted partner to businesses across the Bankmade-upof diverse teams strengths and capabilities contributing to TDs overall success. Together TD Finance helps the Bank make smart business decisions ensure regulatory compliance and financial reporting accuracy and guard the integrity of TDs business processes drive efficiencies with external suppliers and manage TDs global real estate portfolio.

Enterprise Finance is responsible for developing and delivering financial strategy information and management support on an enterprise-wide basis for TD consistent with TDs enterprise risk appetite. Its mandate encompasses financial management and regulatory reporting enterprise strategy and decision support (including financial analysis planning and forecasting and performance management) taxation investor relations and financial control and governance.

The Enterprise Finance team includes thebelowareas:

  • Financial Reporting Controls Team

  • Accounting Policy and Advisory

  • Business Finance Reporting (Wealth Wholesale TD Canada Trust TD Insurance Business Banking etc.)

  • Corporate Finance Reporting (Technology Digital Channels Marketing etc.)

  • Financial & Regulatory Reporting

  • Enterprise Strategy Decision Support/Investor Relations

JOB DESCRIPTION

The opportunity within Financial Reporting Controls team will providean experiencewithin a Finance organization to help build broad control and governance competencies. This role will not only provideyouintroductory experience in a professional settingyouwill also be equipped with skills andexperiencesthat contribute to the completion of your studies and prepare you to build a career in your chosen discipline. Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct data profiling analysis requirement gap analysis develop detailed data mapping and requirements documentation and work closely with technology teams to support solution design and delivery.

  • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate data solutions ensuring they meet business requirements and functions as intended.

  • Continuously enhance and optimize data mapping documentation and delivery processes to improve efficiency and meet the evolving needs of the treasury function.

  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving data issues and discrepancies ensuring minimal disruption to treasury mandates.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand TBSMs strategic goals gather business requirements and build scalable and future-proofing solutions to facilitate efficient treasury reporting and decision-making.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in anundergraduate degreein Business Finance or Quantitative Discipline;with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term

  • Highproficiencyin MS Office (Excel PowerPoint Word Visio) SQL data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and detail oriented.

  • Strong communicationand interpersonal skills as the role require working with multiple stakeholders and articulating complex treasury and data matters in a concise manner.

  • Effective teamplayeras well as the ability to work independently.
