Job Summary
The Application Support Analyst provides technical expertise and operational support for business applications and related systems. This role is responsible for troubleshooting resolving system issues responding to service requests and ensuring the stability and performance of missionâcritical applications. The analyst collaborates closely with the Service Desk vendors and internal stakeholders to support daily operations enhance processes and maintain reliable application performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for applicationârelated issues.
- Diagnose and resolve application and system incidents.
- Collaborate with the Service Desk on escalated technical issues.
- Monitor and triage tickets submitted through the organizations ticketing system.
- Perform daily health checks on applications scripts and supporting infrastructure.
- Install configure and administer application servers and related components.
- Manage updates patches and environment changes as required.
- Develop automation solutions using approved scripting languages such as PowerShell SQL and JavaScript.
- Eliminate manual tasks by creating repeatable automated processes.
- Support integrations involving Famous ERP Famous WMS APIs EDI and flatâfile exchanges.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to enhance system interoperability.
- Create and maintain documentation for applications workflows and troubleshooting processes.
- Identify opportunities for improving business processes and implementing enhancements.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Participate in onâcall rotation as required.
Requirements and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of IT support experience.
- Strong ability to selfâmanage tasks and projects from initiation to completion.
- Experience supporting configuring or integrating Famous ERP and Famous WMS in a production environment.
- Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell SQL JavaScript or other relevant languages.
- Experience with application integration methods such as APIs EDI flatâfile exchanges and automation processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with individuals at all skill levels.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric / Power BI.
- Experience with PowerApps.
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Working Conditions
- Hours of work may vary based on business needs.
- Ability and willingness to travel without restrictions.
- May work within a refrigerated warehouse environment (temperatures 45Â55F).
- May work in areas with elevated noise levels due to packaging machinery and forklift operations.
- Routinely uses standard office equipment including computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets and fax machines.
- Work requires extended periods of sitting and computer use; appropriate vision capabilities are required.
- Position may require lifting up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers an annual wage range of $40000 - $55000 CAD with final compensation varying based on experience skills internal equity and addition Pure Flavor offers a competitive total rewards package including company-paid benefits RRSP matching and paid time off.
