Sr. Full Stack Engineer

What Youll Do

• Design build and maintaindata-rich web-based user interfacesfor cloud security products
• Contribute tobackend systems and services(e.g. APIs proxies SQL-based services) that support large-scale data processing
• Drivearchitectural and technical decisionsto ensure scalability reliability and performance
• Build and evolvedata models and query systems including graph-based representations of complex relationships where applicable
• Collaborate closely withUX designers backend engineers and product managers to deliver intuitive and impactful security features
• Balance speed and quality while delivering features in a fast-paced evolving product environment
• Communicate designs trade-offs and outcomes clearly to peers and leadership
• Participate in recruiting onboarding and mentoring engineers
• Stay current with modern engineering tools frameworks and best practices

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science Engineering Mathematics Statistics or related discipline)
• 5 years of experience building and operatingSaaS applicationson modern cloud platforms
• Strong experience developing and maintainingweb-based user interfaces
• Experience contributing tobackend systems(e.g. APIs services SQL-based data stores)
• Proven experience buildingdata-intensive or distributed systems
• Familiarity with modern software delivery practices includingCI/CD monitoring and observability
• Ability to work effectively inambiguous problem spaces driving design and implementation with limited supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience withcloud security infrastructure security or related domains
• Experience processing and queryinglarge-scale datasets with attention to performance cost and efficiency
• Familiarity withcloud-based data warehouses(e.g. Snowflake Redshift)
• Experience withgraph-based data modeling or graph databases(e.g. Neo4j or similar technologies)
• Experience building or integratinggraph query enginesto model complex relationships and access paths
• Experience working inhigh-growth or product-driven SaaS environments

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160000-$200000. Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits including medical dental vision life and disability insurance 401(k) 11 paid holidays vacation time and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program.

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market job type and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidates subject knowledge skill level qualifications experience and geographic location.

All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program. Bonus eligibility is reviewed at the time of hire and annually at the Companys discretion.
