Job Description
The Quality Lead is responsible for ensuring the consistent implementation of quality standards across allconstruction activities. This role involves direct supervision coordination and technical support to theQuality Control Coordinators and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to upholdproject quality objectives.
Supervise mentor and provide technical guidance to Quality Control Coordinators.
Assign schedule and monitor daily QC tasks to ensure timely and thorough execution.
Oversee field inspections material testing and quality checks conducted by QC Coordinatorsensuring adherence to project specifications.
Review and validate inspection reports and Non-Conformance Reports prior to submission to theConstruction Quality Control Manager.
Ensure accurate documentation and traceability of inspections test results and quality controlactivities in accordance with project record-keeping protocols.
Coordinate with subcontractors suppliers and third-party inspectors to ensure compliance withapproved quality plans and contractual requirements.
Assist the Construction Quality Control Manager in reviewing revising and maintaining quality related components of the Construction Quality Management Plan.
Collaborate with construction teams to address and resolve Non-Conformances promptly.
Monitor compliance with Inspection and Test Plans project specifications and qualityprocedures.
Conduct regular quality briefings and training sessions for site personnel to promote a strongquality culture and awareness.
Participate in kick-off and pre-activity meetings to ensure all trades understand qualityrequirements before commencing work.
Support the Construction Quality Control Manager in continuous improvement initiatives auditsand root cause analyses.
Lead periodic internal quality audits and assist in external audit readiness and responses.
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong understanding of construction quality management systems and standards.
In-depth knowledge of Inspection and Test Plans Non-Conformance Reports and MaterialApproval Processes.
Familiarity with industry-specific codes and regulations.
Proficiency in reviewing construction drawings and technical submittals.
Experience with quality documentation systems and construction management software.
Proven ability to identify quality risks and implement corrective actions.
Skilled in developing implementing and monitoring Quality Control Plans.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting coordination andstakeholder engagement.
Ability to assess technical problems and propose practical solutions.
