The Grand Forks County Sheriffs Office is seeking a Medical Office Clerk to perform clerical and administrative support functions for the medical office at the Grand Forks County Correctional Center. This position supports medical personnel by maintaining accurate patient records coordinating medical appointments managing medication inventories and ensuring timely communication with internal and external healthcare providers. The role requires a high level of organization confidentiality and the ability to work independently in a correctional environment.
This position is based within a correctional facility and requires adherence to all security policies and procedures of the Grand Forks County Correctional Center.

Status and Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm benefits eligible. There might be a variation in working hours and days to support the office and County needs. This position is not eligible for teleworking.

Basic Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduation from an accredited Health Unit Coordinator program preferred. 1-3 years of office or administrative experience required. Medical office experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid drivers license.
