Job Summary

Job Opportunity: Locum Physician in Palliative Medicine - Traverse City MI

You will have the chance to make a significant impact on patient care during your locum assignment.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide simultaneous coverage and oversight of three services: Inpatient Palliative Medicine Consult Service outpatient Palliative Medicine Clinic Practice and home-based Hospice Care service.
Handle an average of 12-18 inpatient consults per day shared between physicians and advanced practice providers.
Participate in a 24-hour call coverage ensuring comprehensive care for patients.
Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and management.
Respond to an average of 10 calls/pages during daytime hours and 1 during nighttime hours.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
Active Michigan medical license (preferred).
BLS certification (required).

License and Certification Requirements:

Active medical license in Michigan.
BLS certification.
Board Certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
