Reporting to the Medical Director of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the Chair of Surgery for clinical issues the APP serves as a key clinical provider and team member in the treatment and management of Intensive Care Unit patients and patients in the operative emergency department and medical-surgical floors. They practice under the direction of the Medical Director of the ICU and other Intensivists in a manner consistent with both the Massachusetts Board and hospital policy. The APP will also work collaboratively with surgeons and/or Hospitalists on the medical-surgical floor by assisting the physicians with the ongoing management of patients under the care of the surgical attendings. The APP is responsible for the assessment admission stabilization and ongoing management of patients in the ICU under the direction of the Intensivist.Job Description:

$56.25 - $91.83The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors that may include seniority education training relevant experience relevant certifications geographyof work location job responsibilities or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials call pay premium pay overtime pay and other additional pay practices as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
