Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Med-Surg Oncology
Location: Tallahassee FL
Schedule: Full-Time Days (7:00 AM 7:00 PM) or Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends
Compensation & Incentives
Hourly Pay: $27.72 $39.60 (based on years of experience)
Shift Differentials:
Nights: $3.00/hour
Weekends: $2.00/hour
Sign-On Bonus:
Days: $10000
Nights: $15000
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Med-Surg Oncology Registered Nurse to join a well-established 288-bed acute care hospital in Tallahassee FL. This role offers the opportunity to work in a modern oncology-focused environment providing high-quality patient-centered care to adult patients undergoing cancer treatment and recovery.
You will collaborate with an experienced interdisciplinary team while maintaining clinical autonomy in managing complex patient needs and treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive and ongoing assessments of oncology patients
Advocate for patient safety and individualized care within a multidisciplinary team
Develop implement and evaluate personalized plans of care
Educate patients and families on medications procedures and oncology treatment protocols
Administer medications and therapies per clinical guidelines
Ensure efficient utilization of time supplies and medical equipment
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent Acute Care RN experience required
Licensure: Active Florida RN license or active Multistate/Compact RN license
Compact license holders must obtain a Florida license within 60 days of relocation
Certifications:
BLS required
ACLS preferred (required within 6 months of hire)
Education:
Associate Degree in Nursing required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
