Nurse Manager (RN) Medical Surgical / Neurology
Location: Atlantis FL (Palm Beach County Area)
Schedule: Full-Time Day Shift No Weekends
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Rate: $38.52 $53.70 (commensurate with experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Available; evaluated on a case-by-case basis
Work-Life Balance: Day shift with no weekend requirements
Supportive Leadership Structure: Reports directly to the Director of Nursing (DON) with strong support from Charge Nurses/CNCs
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Manager (RN) to lead a 3236 bed Medical-Surgical / Neurology unit within a 558-bed acute care hospital in the Palm Beach County area. This facility is a Joint Commissioncertified Primary Stroke Center and a recognized leader in cardiovascular and neuroscience services.
The Nurse Manager is responsible for 24/7 operational and clinical accountability of the unit promoting excellence in patient care staff engagement and quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership: Lead mentor and support nursing staff with the assistance of Charge Nurses/CNCs
Operational Management: Oversee staffing scheduling and effective resource utilization
Quality & Safety Oversight: Ensure compliance with clinical standards safety protocols and performance metrics
Strategic Coordination: Collaborate with leadership to support organizational goals and unit success
Staff Development: Foster professional growth education and clinical competency among team members
Qualifications & Requirements
Leadership Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role (Charge Nurse CNC or Nurse Manager) within an acute care setting
Clinical Experience: Required background in Neurology (Neuro) nursing
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Licensure: Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License
Certifications:
BLS (required; may be obtained within 30 days of hire)
ACLS (required; may be obtained within 30 days of hire)
