A reputable critical access hospital in New Hampshire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join its dynamic ED team. Position Overview
As an Emergency Department RN you will provide immediate comprehensive nursing care to patients of all ages presenting with acute illnesses and injuries. You will work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to assess stabilize and treat patients in a high-acuity setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
- Provide direct nursing care including monitoring treatment and evaluation of patient responses
- Administer medications and emergency interventions per physician orders and protocols
- Accurately document patient assessments treatments and outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with physicians advanced practice providers and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies safety standards and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience preferred
