We are ROCKWOOL the world leader in stone wool solutions working to enrich modern living through sustainable insulation and building products. You will join Group Sourcing & Procurement (GSP) a team of procurement professionals supporting the ROCKWOOL Group across multiple categories and regions.

Your role
As Section Manager for the Binder & Chemicals team you will lead the section while beingdirectly responsiblefor one or more categories. You will own category strategies supplierrelationshipsand delivery of results while supporting Group Sourcing & Procurement (GSP) business plans.
You willoptimizecategory management strategies manage spend under control secure continuoussupplyand mitigate category-related risks. The role requires strong category managementexpertise procurementknow-howandpeopleleadership to drive performance across the team and interfaces within the Group and OPCOs.
Keyresponsibilities
Lead the section to deliver contribution targets andmaintaina robust sourcing pipeline.
Own one or more categories: develop and evolve category strategies support sourcing activitiesand beaccountable for results.
Drive team discussions toidentifyvalue creation opportunities and proactively address gaps against targets.
Monitor category performance and provide regular reporting on contribution contract coveragecomplianceand other KPIs.
Review category strategies and draft evolutions with Category Managers prior to Category Director reviews.
Lead discussions focused on improving contract coverage and compliance.
Lead the TYCE exercise including preparation and alignment with the team beforereviewwith the Category Director.
Proofread contract executive summaries before submission to the Category Director.
Support andparticipatein supplier evaluationselectionand negotiations to build long-term partnerships and continuous improvement.
Propose category-related risks (market and price volatility supply disruptions compliance) and define mitigation actions together with the team.
Act as the first point of escalation for the team; escalate unresolved issues to the Category Director when.
Provide hands-on support in troubleshooting problemresolutionand decision-making related to category issues.
Represent the Category Director in meetings when including OPCO QBRs TYCE reviews with the CPO and key stakeholder meetings (Technical Supply Chain and Managing Directors).
Support recruitment activities including CV screening and participation in first-round interviews.
Lead people management activities: coaching performance management promotionstrainingand capability development.
Coordinate leave planning within the team to ensure continuous business support.
Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholdersregardingcategory performanceopportunitiesand status updates.

Delivery of company strategy and KPIs particularly within GSP Binder & Chemicals.
Zero supply interruptions causing factory stoppages.
Strong leadership and effective execution across all key responsibility areas.

Who we are looking for
University degree with 1015 years experience in category management procurement supplychainorlogistics.
Proven experience managing teams and owning categories end-to-end.
Strong business acumen with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Solid category managementexpertise including contract management legalunderstandingand negotiations.
Ability to structure and execute complex analyses and translate insights into clear recommendations and actionable implementation plans.
Proven negotiation capability with a balanced and pragmatic commercial mindset.
Proactive forward-lookingand results-oriented approach.
Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken.
Comfortable working cross-functionally in an international environment.
