Key responsibilities include comprehensive evaluation of mobility restrictions development of individualized evidence-based rehabilitation plans and execution of interventions such as therapeutic exercise gait and balance training manual therapy and functional task practice. Youll monitor progress adjust plans as needed document outcomes clearly and coordinate care with physicians nurses and therapy aides. Youll participate in discharge planning patient and family education and community reintegration activities. The role offers growth within the physical therapy specialty through access to advanced certifications mentorship and continuing education resources.
