Location: New York NY
Duration: 13-Week Contract (Standard)
Shift: Day Shift 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
Pay Rate: $65 $80 per hour
Weekly Compensation: $2242.50 $2760
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced high-acuity interventional cardiac unit in New York NY. This role is ideal for experienced Cath Lab or Critical Care nurses who thrive in dynamic environments and demonstrate exceptional clinical judgment and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations angioplasties stent placements and pacemaker insertions
Continuously monitor hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythms during invasive procedures
Administer and monitor conscious sedation in compliance with safety protocols
Respond promptly to cardiac emergencies including arrhythmias and procedural complications following ACLS guidelines
Perform advanced IV insertion phlebotomy and manage arterial and venous access lines
Provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedural patient care including sheath removal and access site assessment
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience
Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience (required)
Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience (ICU or Emergency Department)
Demonstrated proficiency in IV insertion phlebotomy and conscious sedation
Education & Licensure
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited nursing program
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License
Ability to provide Primary Source Verification through the NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
Certifications
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
