As our Finance & Benefits Coordinator youll play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity and operational excellence of our agency. This position prepares and submits required financial reports maintains accurate accounting records oversees employee benefits and supports a wide range of fiscal functions essential to our mission.
What Youll Do
- Prepare and submit required agency financial reports to funding sources
- Maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with agency policies and 2 CFR 200
- Process agency benefit payments and assist with the annual 403(b) retirement plan audit
- Collaborate closely with the CFO Administration and program staff to support agency goals
- Perform fiscal duties in the absence of the CFO
- Assist with agency audits and program monitoring
- Review program budgets for accuracy and compliance with funding requirements
What Were Looking For
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant OR possess a bachelors degree in accounting business fiscal management or related field
- Non-profit experience strongly preferred but not required
- Strong mathematical analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional conduct and strong relationship-building skills
- High attention to detail
- Intermediate proficiency with Word and Excel
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time salaried exempt
- Typical hours are MondayFriday 8:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.
- Starting salary: $60000/year with additional compensation for relevant experience education and certifications
