Psychotherapist (LCSW, LCPC or LMFT) Behavioral Health Connection

Penobscot Community Health Care is seeking a psychotherapist to work in and support our growing Behavioral Health Connection service based at PCHCs Brewer Medical Center. Care for your own patient panel and partner with care teams across the PCHC organization providing intakes for new patients. The Behavioral Health Connection (BHC) Therapist supports PCHCs mission by promoting timely access to care for the whole person continuity of care and the enhancement of well-being for everyone regardless of life circumstance.

LCSW LCPC LMFT and Conditionally licensed providers are encouraged to apply. Advanced degree in MH Counseling Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy required. Must be licensed or eligible for licensing in the state of Maine to provide mental health counseling.

Highlights:

• This position is planned for full-time 40 hours per week generally Monday Friday 9 AM 5:30 PM.
• Availability for some in-person work is required at Brewer Medical Center in Brewer ME. Mostly remote schedule will be available once fully ramped.
• The BHC Therapist practices and collaborates with peer PCHC therapists embedded in outpatient primary care practices across the organization for effective efficient service delivery.
• In addition to providing two psychiatric assessments per day the BHC Therapist will serve as an empaneled provider offering individual couples and group counseling and mental health triage.
• Must be able to work with diverse populations across the lifespan.
• The BHC therapist should be well versed and skilled in a variety of counseling modalities that include solution focused as well as long-term therapy work and be comfortable in a dynamic and growing professional environment.
