Job Summary
Adelphi is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to provide services at a correctional facility in Mendota California. The ideal candidates will provide direct nursing care to inmates while ensuring adherence to established standards of care and practice.

Requirements:
Valid and unrestricted California RN license
BLS (AHA)
Minimum of 3 years of experience
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in accordance with legal ethical and institutional standards.
Conduct medical assessments including health histories physical exams and lab tests.
Administer medications via various methods (oral intradermal subcutaneous intramuscular) as prescribed.
Assist in the distribution of medications at pill lines and monitor patient responses to therapy.
Respond to medical emergencies and manage injuries (e.g. splinting and immobilization).
Participate in the daily operation of the health clinic and conduct sick calls.
Ensure accurate documentation of all patient interactions including medical histories reports and evaluations.
Comply with health and safety protocols including infection control policies and maintain patient confidentiality.
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in planning implementing and revising treatment plans.
Any other duties as assigned.
