What Youll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Extensive background in teaching and education.
• Proven leadership experience within a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Experience in behaviour management safeguarding and trauma-informed approaches.
• A genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEND.

Desirable:

• Experience working in a specialist or alternative provision school.
• Additional leadership or SEND-related qualifications.

What Youll Do

• Support the Headteacher in the strategic leadership and day-to-day running of the school.
• Lead on teaching learning and curriculum development within a specialist SEND setting.
• Promote positive behaviour safeguarding and trauma-informed practice across the school community.
• Coach support and develop teaching and support staff to achieve high standards.
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to whole-school improvement planning.
• Build strong relationships with pupils families and external professionals.
