Provides support to homeless women accessing Carole Annes Place an Out of the Cold program designed to provide a safe warm supportive space for women when the shelter beds and overflow beds in the city are full. Using an integrated feminist anti-racist/anti-oppressive and trauma informed perspective the CAP Coordinator will assess the needs of women and offer supports that include crisis intervention supportive counseling referrals advocacy brief goal planning and programming; while ensuring adherence to the YWCAs vision mission and values.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Regularly works in emotional charged situations requiring resolution which can be hostile or violent at times;
Availability to work weekdays and weekends.
