The TDFinancial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM)department is accountable forestablishingTDs Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Anti-Terrorist Financing (ATF) Economic Sanctions and Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption (ABAC) programs to ensure that all TD businesses adhere with AML/ATF/Sanctions/ABAC regulatory expectations in alljurisdictionswhere TDoperates. Within FCRM the Global Sanctions & ABAC (GSA)group focuses on developing andmaintainingTDs Enterprise Sanctions and ABAC programs includingpolicy maintenance sanctions screening reviews regulatory change management issues managementexecutivereporting risk assessments and more.The team provides strategic oversight to safeguard TD from sanctions and ABAC regulatory risk.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The FCRM Global Sanctions & ABAC (GSA) groupis looking for amotivated summer intern with strong analytical abilities attention to detail and genuine interest in financial-crime prevention. The ideal candidate is curious collaborative and able to work in a fast-paced environment while learning complex sanctions and ABAC concepts. Responsibilities include supporting sanctions screening reviews helping with regulatory change and issues management activities andassistingwith data gathering synthetization and reporting for senior management.

  • Currentlyenrolled in anundergraduate degreein FinanceAccounting Analytics DataBusiness/Commerceor relatedfield

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school atthe start of yourschoolterm(requirement of all co-op/intern positions)

Businessspecific job requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing information

  • Analytical thinking and ability to interpret complex rules and/or data

  • Clear communication skills both written and verbal

  • Proactive and resourceful able to take initiative with minimal supervision

  • Organizational judgment and respect for confidentiality

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn about financial crimes risk management

  • Experience with Excel
