Weekly Hours: 36 Hours
Pay Rate: $50.00 $56.12 per hour
Estimated Weekly Gross: $1725 $1936.14

Note:Candidates must reside at least 100 miles away from client facility to be eligible for travel status within this system.

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join a busy and well-supported Family Birth Center in Maryville Tennessee located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. This opportunity is ideal for a travel nurse who excels in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing patients across the full labor and delivery continuum.

Key Responsibilities

The Labor & Delivery RN will provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care including but not limited to:

Triage assessments and non-stress tests (NSTs)
Management of labor inductions and Magnesium Sulfate administration
Assistance with cesarean sections and external versions
Newborn resuscitation and stabilization
Circumcisions and post-delivery newborn care
Collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe patient-centered outcomes

Candidate Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent Labor & Delivery experience
(First-time travelers will not be considered)
EHR Experience: At least 1 year of EPIC experience
Licensure: Active Tennessee RN license or Compact (NLC) license
Certifications Required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
