POSITION SUMMARY:
The Technologist Assistant performs responsibilities in a professional manner not requiring constant supervision. Assumes responsibility for designated areas procedures and assists the technologist in performing examinations.

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Working knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy. Knowledge of computer applications required. Knowledge of filing systems. Must be able to follow instructions work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
