Job Summary
Job Description:
An Accountantmanages and reports a companys financial health by recording transactions preparing statements (P&L Balance Sheet) managing budgets handling payroll/taxes and analyzing data to ensure compliance and support strategic decisions for efficiency profitability and growth requiring high integrity and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting:Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements budgets forecasts and commentaries.
- Data Management:Record financial transactions maintain ledgers reconcile accounts and ensure data accuracy.
- Compliance:Ensure adherence to laws regulations and GAAP; prepare and file tax returns.
- Analysis & Strategy:Analyze financial data identify risks suggest cost savings and advise management on financial strategy.
- Operations:Oversee payroll manage cash flow handle accounts payable/receivable and review business records.
Core Duties
- Examine financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
- Manage and monitor budgets and cash flow.
- Process payroll and control income/expenditure.
- Conduct internal audits and resolve discrepancies.
- Consult with leadership to provide financial insights for decision-making.
