Job Summary
Sutherland is looking for Java Software developers to build and implement World class product for Travel Vertical industry. Your primary duties will revolve around building software - writing code and modifying software to fix errors improve its performance or upgrade interfaces.
In this role you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. Your goal will be to build efficient software and systems that serve user needs.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Grasp the business domain and the database structure of the respective module
- Decode the business requirements into technical requirements
- Design code unit test and debug the Java code
- Design & develop microservices
- Complete code development to ensure product releases are achieved on time
- Follow coding best practices write clean modular code & maintain optimal code quality
- Code regression testing and fix any bugs identified during the testing cycle
- Being part of the Scrum Team adhere/follow the Scrum practices as guided by the Scrum Master
- Collaborate with SME Product Managers and other members of the project team in requirements specification and detailed engineering analysis.

Education
- Graduation / Post Graduation in Computer Science / Related Engineering
Experience
- Min. 2 yrs to max of 4 yrs experience in Software development in java ecosystem
Min. 2 yrs of experience in working with Spring boot & Apache Spark framework
Min. 1 yrs of experience in working with Angular Skillset
Skillset
- Proven skills in Java Spring boot Spring Apache Spark Hibernate Spring AOP Spring Security RESTful webservices Java Script JQuery Angular HTML5 CSS Bootstrap Ant Maven Log4J.
- Expertise in Spring Batch PL/SQL Drools RabbitMQ Kafka streaming will be added advantage
- Exposure to Agile Scrum methodologies
- Work experience in Git / any equivalent version control system
- Knowledge of CI/CD systems preferably Jenkins
- Possess English speaking/reading/writing skills
Added Advantages
Prior experience on any Enterprise product development with geographically dispersed teams.
